RECEPTION AND PROCESSING OF TV SIGNALS
Gathering the needed tv and radio channels from various sources like sattelite, terrestrial, IP streaming or directly from their studios is most essential task at cable headends. We have tested and proven turnkey solutions for reception of all kinds of sources and further processing (demodulation, remodulation, multiplexing, RF-level coupling and amplifying) of the signals, providing maximal quality of the signals at the output of the headend.
COMBINING AND DISTRIBUTION OF SIGNALS
Analog TV channels, digital DVB-C multiplexes and DOCSIS downstreams and upstreams on the RF stage at the core and the output of the headend must be carefully combined and precisely multiplexed together to obtain correct levels and Signal-to-Noise ratios at the edge of the headend. Further distribution of the signals via optical transmitters, optical nodes, amplifiers and passive components must also be precisely tuned in order to maximise the quality and robustness.

Cable Modem Termination Systems (CMTS) are the essential equipment for implementation of DOCSIS (data over cable service interface specification) in order to make cable networks bi-directional and enable transport of data and voice traffic through them.
